Making the march non-relevant?

Quoting The Sun report - "Asked whether a special commission would be set up to investigate the case, he (Pak Lah) said: "There is no need for one."

LOLLY GIVEN, NOT CHOCOLATE REQUESTED

Fellow lawyers,

We lawyers asked for the chocolate of a Royal Commission of Inquiry. We have been given a lolly of an independent.

Never forget that. That is how our Government has decided to play it, thinking that it is dealing with children.

Let us ask them again for our chocolate. Let us not compromise for a lolly.

DEFINING MOMENT IS HERE

I am coming to Kuala Lumpur and expect the march to proceed peacefully tomorrow without let or hindrance.

The lawyers who are going there are going there to march and then witness the memo calling for the setting up of a Royal Commission of Inquiry to be handed over to the Prime Minister or his representative.

Unfortunately, with the way the matters are being handled, the credibility of the Pak Lah administration now hangs in the balance.

The Pak Lah administration must redeem itself by ensuring that the march proceeds smoothly.

The Pak Lah administration will redeem itself if Pak Lah himself comes out personally to receive the memorandum from the representative of the lawyers.

In view of the coming general elections expected in the next few months, the "lesser lights" within the administration must no longer be allowed to handle matters since they have shown a complete incapability of doing so thus far.

Herein lies the defining moment of the new generation of lawyers. They must pass the test and pass it with flying colours. Malaysia expects them to do no less.
