<title>PM's wife is not the First Lady</title>
			<link>http://www.malaysianbar.org.my/legal/general_news/when_lee_kuan_yew_meets_rosmah.html#pc_9457</link>
<description>Just to clarify that the use of the title &quot;First Lady&quot; is reserved for the female spouse of the Head of State in a republic. Since however we have a constitutional monarchy in Malaysia, there is no such thing as a First Lady (or, as in the Philippines, the Frist Gentleman). We have the Raja Permaisuri Agung. To call the PM's wife the First Lady is to bring into disrepute the position of the Raja Permaisuri Agung. Which can be an act of a seditious tendency if you read your Sedition Act 1948! (Not that I am advocating its use.)

Our PM is not the head of state, but head of government. So his spouse has no specific title. And no role in government.
