I hope RPK would not buckle by this. They just cannot accept if others interpret Islam differently from them. It has to be their version of Islam. As far as I can read from RPK's writings, he had never undermined Islam. He is just being frank in his opinions of what Islam is in his mind. It just goes to show that the situation in this country will never change unless someone in the government suddenly wakes up from their coma all these years and realise that the world has move on......
