In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Conference on Convention for Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and 20th anniversary of the Model Law, UNCITRAL is organising a series of worldwide conferences this year, focusing on regional issues arising out of these Conventions. UNCITRAL's Asian conference will take place in Singapore and SIAC will host this historic event.
The Conference will bring together distinguished scholars and practitioners to discuss the jurisprudence that has developed over the Convention and Model Law. UNCITRAL Digests of court decisions on these will be looked into critically to ascertain trends and anticipate developments in these areas of the law.
