Bidang keusahawanan merupakan bidang yang amat diberikan penekanan oleh Islam. Malaysia melalui Islam Hadari dengan membawa pendekatan holistik yang progresif sentiasa memberi galakan kepada rakyat khususnya umat Islam untuk menyertai bidang ini. Budaya keusahawanan bukan sahaja dapat memajukan bangsa dan agama, bahkan dapat melepaskan negara daripada pelbagai kemelut ekonomi contohnya isu pengangguran yang membelenggu masyarakat kini.
Seminar ini bertujuan untuk mengupas isu-isu keusahawanan dalam perspektif Islam, mendedahkan tentang peluang, cabaran serta prospek dalam bidang keusahawanan untuk umat Islam di Malaysia. Selain itu, seminar ini juga membincangkan berkenaan dengan tahap penglibatan umat Islam dan kecenderungan wanita Islam serta cabaran mereka dalam dunia perniagaan dan keusahawanan.
