To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the setting up of the Asean Law Association, a special session is to be held in the Philippines. As a contribution and run up to this event, the Executive Council of the Asean Law Association of Malaysia will host a dinner at the Sheraton Subang Hotel & Towers, Subang Jaya, Selangor on Friday 22 July 2005 at 7.30 pm The Anniversary dinner will be attended by judges, judicial and legal officers, members of the Bar, law teachers and other invited guests. Representatives from national committees of Asean Law Associations of Asean countries are also expected to be present.

The organizing committee has also drawn up an interesting programme. There will be an 8-course Chinese dinner and arrangements are being made to permit diners to bring along their own liqour subject only to payment of a nominal corkage charge. There will be a band and a popular entertainment group has been approached.

The cost of the dinner is RM200 per person or RM2,000 per table of ten. Members are encouraged to book a table.
