It was announced in the media that the State Government of Selangor had set up a Task Force Tanah which is jointly chaired by Dato Dr. Tan Kee Kwong and Datuk Dr. Nik Mohd Zain, to look into issues and problems faced by various persons in their dealings with State agencies or bodies in connection with dealings in land.

The Conveyancing Practice Committee has arranged for members of the Malaysian Bar to have a dialogue session with members of the Task Force Tanah and officers from the relevant land registry and land offices, to give members of the Bar an opportunity to provide their feedback directly to the Task Force Tanah.
