PUTRAJAYA, Oct 19 (Bernama) -- Lincoln's Inn Alumni, Malaysia will be holding its second Tun Hussein Onn Lecture and Gala dinner on October 26 at a leading hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

In a statement issued here Friday, it said both events will be graced by Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak, who is the Royal Patron of the Alumni.

The lecture will be delivered by Justice Albie Sachs of the Constitutional Court of South Africa. He belonged to the anti-apartheid movement and appeared for members of the African National Congress headed by Nelson Mandela before the courts during the dark period (apartheid South Africa) of that country.

The Tun Hussein Onn lecture was launched in 2005 and the inaugural lecture was delivered by Chief Justice David Malcolm of Western Australia.

It is a biennial event and the Alumni selects speakers of international repute to deliver them. The lecture is open to all and admission is by invitation.
