SHAH ALAM 29 Sept. - Exco kerajaan negeri, Datuk Dr. Hassan Ali perlu dikenakan hukuman setimpal kerana mengkritik dan mencabar integriti Jawatankuasa Pilihan Khas Mengenai Keupayaan, Kebertanggungjawaban dan Ketelusan Selangor (Selcat).
Gesaan dibuat oleh Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Barisan Nasional (BN) Dengkil, Datuk Marsum Paing dan Datuk Mohamed Idris Abu Bakar (Hulu Bernam) yang digantung daripada menghadiri sidang DUN Selangor selama enam bulan pada Julai lalu atas kesalahan mengkritik Selcat.
Menurut Marsum, Hassan sepatutnya dikenakan hukuman lebih berat berbanding penggantungan lima ADUN BN termasuk Ketua Pembangkang, Datuk Dr. Mohd. Khir Toyo atas kesalahan yang sama.
Katanya, Speaker DUN, Teng Chang Khim yang juga Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Hak dan Kebebasan Negeri Selangor perlu memanggil jawatankuasa itu untuk bermesyuarat segera bagi membincangkan perkara tersebut.
Ini kerana jelasnya, jawatankuasa itu mempunyai kuasa untuk mencadangkan kepada DUN bentuk hukuman terhadap Hassan seperti yang dilakukan terhadap lima ADUN BN berkenaan.
Marsum menegaskan, kes-kes yang dihadapi oleh beliau dan rakan-rakannya patut dijadikan rujukan untuk jawatankuasa itu bertindak secara adil.
''Jika kes dahulu, ADUN membuat komen umum tentang Selcat dikenakan hukuman gantung tugas, Hassan harus dikenakan hukuman lebih berat atas kapasitinya sebagai Exco kerajaan negeri,'' ujarnya ketika dihubungi di sini hari ini.
Pada Julai lalu, Mohamad Khir (Sungai Panjang) digantung setahun daripada menghadiri sidang DUN kerana membuat kenyataan menghina kewajaran diwujudkan Selcat menerusi media dan laman blognya serta tidak menghadiri pendengaran awam pada Mac lalu.
Selain Marsum dan Mohamed Idris, dua lagi ADUN BN iaitu Datuk Warno Dogol (Sabak) dan Mohd. Isa Abu Kasim (Batang Kali) digantung enam bulan atas kesalahan mengkritik Selcat di media.
