KUALA LUMPUR: Flowing from last year's event, the Kuala Lumpur YLC hosted a Majlis Berbuka Puasa 2006 at Restaurant Buharry at Jalan Doraisamy (Asian Heritage Row) on October 13, 2006.
The project, led by Richard Wee and assisted by Vincent Tey and Lee Shih of the Social Activity Committee, was well received. Participants started arriving at approximately 6.40 pm. About 20 lawyers and 2 representatives from the Women’s Aid Organisation participated in the event.
The dinner was held in great Malaysian Muhibbah spirit, as we had participants of all races in attendance. New friends were made and new knowledge was gained.
The KL YLC is currently contemplating the possibility of holding a year-end party (co-organised with the KL Bar’s Social Committee). Please check the Malaysian Bar/Kuala Lumpur website for latest events!!
