RETIRED High Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court judges may work as lawyers upon retirement. In a written reply to Karpal Singh (DAP-Bukit Gelugor), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said this was allowed if Sections 10 and 11 of the Law Profession Act 1976 on the registration of defence lawyers were adhered to.
