PETALING JAYA, Nov 27 (Bernama) -- Details on the setting up of the royal commission to inquire into the controversial "Lingam video clip" issue will be discussed in tomorrow's weekly Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said Tuesday.

"We'll discuss it in tomorrow's Cabinet meeting," he told reporters when asked on the latest development on the royal commission.

Abdullah, who returned from a two-day visit to Egypt today, however, declined to comment further.

The Prime Minister announced on Nov 16 that the Government would set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry to investigate a video clip featuring a senior lawyer purportedly brokering judicial appointments.

The decision was made based on the reports submitted by a three-man independent panel set up to determine the authenticity of the video clip.

The Cabinet meeting, to be chaired by Abdullah, is expected to discuss on the commission's terms of reference and the members.

Meanwhile, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz told reporters at Parliament lobby today that the Prime Minister would make the final decision on the commission's members.
