The AGM of the Malacca Bar took place on Wednesday, 24 February 2010 at the Malacca Straits Hotel.
The Chairman Ng Kong Peng called the meeting to order at 4:10 pm when the quorum was reached. The audited accounts, minutes of the 2009 AGM and the annual reports of the various committees were discussed and adopted.
When it came to elections, Ng Kong Peng was returned unopposed as the Chairman of the Malacca Bar.
The following eight names were proposed and elected to serve on the 2010/11 Malacca Bar Committee: Fiona Tan, Karen Cheah, Fatima bte Tahir, Jason Kay, Nizam Bashir, Valerie Choo, Mahaiyuddin and Desmond Ho.
Jaspal Singh was nominated once again as the Malacca Bar Representative to the Bar Council.
